Technology plays more and more an important role in nature conservation. It allows conservation organisations to ease the process of data collection, to react faster to a situation (e.g. poaching), to create automatic reports and to assist with individual identification of species.

On today’s post, we will focus on the African Carnivore Wildbook.

Wildbooks are created by Wild Me. Wild Me builds open software and artificial intelligence for the conservation research community. They are machine learning experts and software professionals supporting conservationists in the fight against extinction.
